French
40 lesson(s)
3 hours 44 minutes
A versatile musician, Jean-Denis Michat is trained at the conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris in specialized classes of saxophone, then analysis, history of music and finally composition and new technologies. Pedagogue, he was appointed professor at the conservatoire de lyon at the age of 24 and was promoted only 1 year later to assistant-professor at the Paris conservatory on the side of Claude Delangle. After 25 years playing on stages around the world, he now devotes his artistic life to teaching and composition. His works gradually take a place of choice in the official saxophone repertoire.
