Nacho Gascón is a saxophonist who understands the classical tradition of his instrument while exploring the new and endless expressive avenues that such a versatile instrument is capable of developing. Currently he combines his interpretive facet with the pedagogical one. As a teacher he has taught classes in the United States, Mexico, France, Spain, England, Japan, Belgium, Australia and Portugal. He is also a creative member of the Andorra Sax Fest and responsible for the international competition of said festival. Since 2001 he has taught Chamber Music and Saxophone at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC)
